Liebster Award Question & Answer!

Hey guys! So it turns out I got nominated by the very lovely LizJuice for another blogging award! Liz is a super adorable Lolita girl from Germany. She has the most amazing pink hair and cutest style, so if you’re a fan of Lolita fashion, check her and her blog out! Thanks for the nomination Liz!

First up, here’s my eleven facts! 

Me & Aaron. I genuinely can't remember the last time
I wore jeans!

1.) I have absolutely zero sense of direction. I don’t know how, but I get lost ridiculously easily. 
2.) I have had a bet/challenge on with one of my best friends Aaron going back to New Year’s Eve 2011 that if I wear dresses/skirts for all of 2012 and up ‘till Easter 2013, he’ll buy me dinner.  So far, I’ve stuck to it! 
3.) Whenever I go in elevators, I always get the most overwhelming urge to giggle and laugh. I have no idea why. 
4.) I have to sleep in complete darkness, otherwise I can’t get to sleep.
5.) I’ve been a geek for a long time- some of my earliest memories are of playing video games and reading books.
6.) I will always wear red, purple or black, or some combination of all three. 
7.) My favourite season is winter, despite how much I complain about the cold!
8.) My collection of comic books is one of my most prized possessions. 
9.) I have my Dad to thank for my love of comic books.
10.) I love going out to restaurants. If I could afford to eat out every night, I would do.
11.) Contrary to popular belief, I’m not a natural redhead! I dye my hair ‘cuz I’m naturally blonde. (Which according to my housemate Daryl, explains a lot) 

11 Questions and answers! 

1.) What is your favourite fashion brand? 

In terms of Lolita clothing, I absolutely adore Innocent World. Their clothes are just so cute and classic! Outside of Lolita clothing, I don’t have a favourite brand. Most of my clothes are from all over, I couldn’t really narrow it down!

2.) What would your dream land look like?

For one thing, there’d be a ready and constant supply of cupcakes and tea! Haha, apart from that, I don’t really know. I absolutely love where I live now, but if I had some sort of shortcut to get to cons, or to hop over to America, it’d be pretty awesome. 

3.) What is your favourite fruit? 

Strawberries. I love strawberries. 

4.) Would you like to dress up in a style you haven’t tried out before? If so, which style and why?

I’d love to dress up in OTT Sweet Lolita style. I adore all the cutesiness and bright colours! 

5.) What do you love the most in your country?

I love the history of literature that Britain has.  That, and some of my favourite comic creators are from Britain. 

6.) With which people would you most like to travel with?

My best friend Lawrence and I have made bajillions of plans in the past that involve travelling. The most recent ones include going to Paris for my 21st birthday and going *somewhere* (I can’t remember where) for his. 

7.) What is your favourite movie genre? 

I love horror films. They are my all-time favourite, which is probably why I’ve been so resentful about studying so many darn musicals on my university course! 

8.) What do you do with your free time?

As a lot of your guys either know or can probably tell, I spend a lot of my free time reading  comics, watching films and writing! Aside from that, I really don’t do that much, I’m kinda boring!

9.) What is your favourite fabric? 

My favourite fabric is probably plain ol’ cotton! 

10.) What is your favourite Lolita style and why? (It doesn’t matter if you wear it or not) 

Aside from sweet and classic, I really like the elegance of Hime and the cutesiness of Sailor. One day I’ll try both those styles out!
